Letter "L"

Our Nursery friends learned all about the letter L! We know that L is for our friends Leyla, Leah and even Tova Leah! We also discovered that L is for Lion, Leaf, Lemon and Lulav. We practiced making the letter L with 2 sticks. Then, we made the letter L out of Lolly pops, yum! We made Lemonaid to drink, and sang a song about Lemons.

Way up high, in a tree,

2 big lemons smiled at me.

So I shook the tree with all my power,

Down came the lemons, but they were SOUR!

We tasted the lemons, and decided that our lemonaid needs sugar to make it sweet. We added sugar into the lemonaid and most of our friends really enjoyed the taste.

Nursery 1 friends were really excited when we did Letter L yoga! We chose exercises  that start or include the Letter L. Some examples were making the shape of the letter L with our Legs, Leg stretches, Lemon tree streches and rolling like a sushi rollll!
