Literacy Month/ Parent reading

This month is Literacy Month.  Our class is discovering the wonderful world of books! We learned that all books tell us something. Some books tell us about stories. Some books have pictures.  Mariella's Dad visited our class last week and read to us "The Little Engine That Could". Thank you Gena!

Mariella drew this awesome picture at home. Can you guess what it is? That's right! Mariella drew a MICROBE!!! how exciting! Mariella shared some interesting information about microbes. She said that microbes can be seen only under a MICROSCOPE. Microbes can also be dangerous. Good work Mariella!

Nursery 1 will be learning about Purim this week.  Feel free to go over the story of Purim as well as talk about any customs or information you know with your child.
