A Peek At The Past Week
Our Nursery friends were very busy getting ready for the holiday of Sukkot. We know that there are some special mitzvos that we do in the Sukkah. Some of these mitzvos include eating in the Sukkah, and shaking a "Lulav and Esrog". Our class explored the Shul Sukkah. We saw that a Sukkah has walls and a roof made from plants called "Schach".

We brought a cardboard Sukkah into our classroom. Our friends had fun sitting inside!

Earlier, we made Sukkah decorations to hang up in our Sukkah. Check it out!

We also constructed our own edible Sukkahs out of Grahm crackers, cream cheese and pretzel sticks. Yum! We ate them for snack :)

Today our Nursery friends played with YELLOW play dough. Some of the children noticed that the Esrog is also YELLOW.

Our friends are getting ready for the upcoming holiday of "Simchas Torah" in which we rejoice with the Torah. This holiday symbolizes Hashems love for us. To get into that happy spirit, we had our own Torah Parade. We also made flags to dance with.
